UNTITLED FEMINIST SHOW

The newest work from Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, conceived and directed by Young Jean Lee is coming your way in January!

UNTITLED FEMINIST SHOW will have its World Premiere at the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis, MN) in January 2012, followed by the NYC premiere Co-presented by Baryshnikov Arts Center and Performance Space 122 as part of COIL 2012. The project was recently awarded the 2012 Spalding Gray Award. 

UFMTS was initially developed in residency at the New Museum in NYC in December 2010. The show continued its development at Mount Tremper Arts in Mount Tremper, NY in August 2011, Baryshnikov Arts Center in NYC in September 2011 and is currently in residence at The Park Avenue Armory in NYC.

2011 GUGGENHEIM FELLOW

On April 7, 2011, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation awarded 180 Fellowships to a diverse group of scholars, artists, and scientists in its eighty-seventh annual competition for the United States and Canada. Appointed on the basis of prior achievement and exceptional promise, the successful candidates were chosen from a group of almost 3,000 applicants.
